I should have tried harder at the beginning, or that’s what I tell myself. When I went all in on making this WordPress site my full online presence, I used the stylesheets from a lesson on responsive styling. But I also edited them haphazardly, misunderstood the implementation of the box model and the selection of support styling, and failed to consider every style for size and orientation.
Opening my site on a phone was always bad after I had made most of these changes. Because I did not generally open it on a phone, much less use the dev console to properly try out styles, and just hoped for the best, I was setting up for a bad time.
I finally fixed a few more base site issues for size and, in a big one, poured over the HL Tracker to fix its ridiculously fixed size and shape styling.
Before I did that, I worked on some images for items in the map and tracker. The marker popup and item focus dialogs were always meant to be detailed with images, and now I’ve got a lot more of that online. Also, one of the old ideas, being able to navigate back and forth between the map and tracker directly, is now live. The focus dialog previously linked to the map; now the equivalent marker on the map can send you back to the tracker.
Now, I’m working on treasure vault data and will eventually get back to the quest data.
