Synopsys

Professor Hecat shows the fifth-year students the importance of control spells in defense. After preventing Prewitt and Sallow’s impromptu dueling session from nearly breaking up her Hebridean dragon skeleton display, Prof. Hecat shows how useful levitation is in combat.

After training Levioso, the professor brings out a training dummy and has the player demonstrate its combat effectiveness. Then, since experience is a far better teacher than theory alone, Hecat sets up a dueling platform with Sebastian Sallow and the player facing off.

Prof. Hecat offers encouragement and suggests that Sebastian may know how to gain further extracurricular practice before dismissing the class. Speaking to Sebastian, you find that an unsanctioned dueling club exists, and speaking to Lucan Brattleby in the clock tower courtyard can uncover more.

  • Levioso is the first control spell. Not only is it a primary benefit in stymying hostile combatants, but it also elevates climbing platforms.
